Just prior to Covid our church experienced a schism due to the removal of the former pastor. A new pastor and set of elders with no previous history at the church now found themselves the stewards of a hurting church that had never had any policy documents or structure and guidelines of any kind. I cannot undersell the lifeline and hope that John Martin and Logicboard brought to our leadership team. We were a blank slate, and we wanted to rebuild a church that had a solid foundation in Christ with a governing structure that would put us on a path to success. His process enabled us to develop our Vision, Mission, roles, policy manual, and organizational structure. He sat through countless meetings to make sure we knew how to run things and has remained a resource that many of us still call for advice and support. Frankly, Grace Pointe Church would not have survived but for his wise counsel and boundaries he brought to us.
